Urdu Essay Hazrat Umar Farooq Essay in English: An Event from the Islamic History: Once a young man was brought before Hazrat Umer (R.A). Two young men were holding him by his arms. They told Hazrat Umer (R.A) that the young man had killed their father. When asked, he admitted to have hit the man with a stone in anger. However, he had no intention to kill him. Hazrat Umer (R.A) asked about the desire of the two young men. They said that they wanted to take the revenge of their father's murder. According to the Islamic law, Hazrat Umer (R.A) sentenced the killer to death. The young man requested Hazrat Umer (R.A) to give him a chance to carry out the instruction of his late father. The father had given him some gold to hand over to his brother. He requested the Khalifah to give him three days to do so. Hazrat Umer (R.A) accepted his request.
